So, it appears that my father is fairly sick. Started last week when he had a horrible sinus infection, then his bottom started to hurt and was under the impression it was sciatica, found out it was just a compressed disk, and he received antibiotics, prednisone for his sinuses and vicodine for his compressed disk. Yesterday I had to take him to the hospital because he was practically chocking on his own mucus and he couldn't keep anything down(kept vomiting). I don't know how people deal with this kind of emotion. It's very melancholy. I guess everybody eventually goes through this. I just find it incredibly depressing because if this puts him under, he will have passed away younger than my grandfather who was never in any physical shape in his life. Who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer when he was only 62, my father is only 54, "The good ones die young" seems to come to mind.
